1951- ; b. 11 July, New York; B.A. Smith College; PhD.TCD; lives in Dublin; RTÉ Radio plays; rehearsed readings at Peacock and Project theatres; winner of O.Z. Whitehead, Listowel and the P. J. O’Connor awards; The Wilde Circus Show (1990) play on the early life of Oscar Wilde's family using metaphor of circus acts; The Rebel Countess uses two actresses in the title-role of Countess Markievicz; winner of short fiction awards from Hennessy, IT/Mills & Boon, Image/Maxwell House; also the Francis MacManus Prize; Magician and Other Stories (1996), a first collection, contains children’s stories.
