Life
[or Joceline, Jocelyn]; author of later Tractatus de Purgatorio S.
Patricii (A Latin Narrative of the Life and Miracles of St.
Patrick), written 1186 for John de Courcy and based on the Book
of Armagh; emphasises miracles; and published in Thomas Massingham, Florilegum
Insulae Sanctorum Hiberniae (Paris 1624), of which the original, along
with David Rothes Distinction of Purgatories, is held
in the British Library as MS Arundel 292. [See under St. Patrick.]
