Henry Monro
   
Life
1768-1798; [also Monroe]; b. Lisburn, Co. Antrim; linen-draper; Irish
Volunteer and later United Irishman, occupied Ballynahinch, and was routed
by General Nugent, 13th June; hanged on Nugents commands opposite
his own door in sight of his wife and children, 15 June, died bravely
on the scaffold, according to tradition. DNB DIB
