Tyrone, 1598; submitted after Battle of Kinsale on the promise of holding
lands from crown; proceeded at law against Tyrone, 1606; knighted, 1607;
surrendered for trial, and imprisoned in Dublin, 1609; transferred to
London; d. in Tower without trial. DNB
